Adelaide Law School 150 Club

To mark the University of Adelaide's 150^th anniversary, we invite you to become a part of history by joining the Adelaide Law School 150 Club, by providing a gift to support students at the Adelaide Law School.

Your gift will support the John Bray Law Scholarship for students undertaking studies in law at the University of Adelaide.

By donating $5,000, we will acknowledge your gift by:

Displaying your name on a digital donor board, in the Adelaide Law School, Ligertwood Building, for a minimum of 3 years.
Displaying your name on the Adelaide Law School webpage under the heading of "Adelaide Law School 150 Club Donors" for a minimum of 3 years.
Inviting up to four representatives from your organisation to a cocktail party for all Adelaide Law School 150 Club donors in Semester 2, 2024.
Inviting one representative from your organisation to the scholarship reception to meet the inaugural scholarship recipients.

It is hoped that funds raised from the Adelaide Law School 150 Club will be sufficient to enable up to two scholarships to be awarded annually in perpetuity. Successful recipients would be determined with a preference toward applicants who demonstrate financial need and academic merit.

It is intended that gifts received through the appeal will be invested in the University's Endowment Fund, which is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding where the principal contribution is invested and an annual income distribution of up to 5.00% return on the invested principal is used to support the fund's purpose (namely, to fund the John Bray Law Scholarship).

All gifts of $2 or more are tax deductible. The University of Adelaide is a recognised deductible gift recipient (DGR). 100% of your gift will directly support your nominated cause.
